Can students participate alongside parents?

Yes. Students can claim days and rally their own networks. Many schools use MonthFund as a student leadership opportunity: giving older students ownership of a specific day and goal.

What if some families can't afford to participate?

The model is flexible. Families who claim Day 3 raise $3. There's no minimum. Participation is about activating your network, not the size of your personal contribution.

How does a calendar fundraiser compare to a fun run or walkathon?

Fun runs and walkathons require physical event coordination—volunteers, route setup, and per-lap tracking. A MonthFund calendar fundraiser runs entirely online. Can individual classrooms run their own campaign?

Yes. Each teacher or classroom parent can serve as an organizer for a classroom-level campaign. Multiple classrooms can run simultaneously under the same school account on an Organization plan. Each group has its own calendar, its own fundraisers, and its own goal.

What if our school already has a fall catalog drive and a spring gala?

MonthFund is designed to fit alongside existing fundraisers, not replace them. Many PTAs use it for a separate giving month when they want a product-free option. A fall calendar campaign, a holiday catalog, and a spring gala can all coexist on your school's annual fundraising calendar.

How does payment processing work for school fundraisers?

MonthFund integrates with Stripe for secure payment processing. Donors pay directly through the platform using a credit or debit card. Funds are deposited on Stripe's standard payout schedule to your organization's bank account. MonthFund does not hold funds.

Is MonthFund an established platform?
