The situation

Why we built this training.

Pledge season asks every family to commit a number up front. A calendar lets them claim a day, in their range, alongside their neighbors.

In 60 minutes we will walk the math, the recruit motion, and the 4-week cadence that turns that gap into a plan. Then we will take your questions live.

What you'll walk away with

A 31-day fundraiser you can actually run.

1

The stewardship framing: claim a day, fund the mission, see the calendar fill.

2

Recruiting 20-30 lay fundraisers from existing ministries and small groups.

3

A respectful 4-week communication cadence (bulletin, pulpit, email, text).

4

Live tour of MonthFund: fee-cover, named days, and public progress without exposing donor amounts.

5

Open Q&A: bring your mission budget, your committee questions, your timing.

The math

The model is repeatable. The work is the recruit.

Calendar fundraising is one of the few formats where a clear goal and a real plan can predict the outcome. We will spend the first 30 minutes on this math; you bring the inputs, we'll work the outputs.

$15K

15 lay fundraisers × $32/day × 31 days ≈ $15K — without a stewardship Sunday hard ask.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this appropriate for a religious community?

Yes. Calendar fundraisers map naturally onto the rhythm of stewardship: a finite season, distributed participation, transparent progress. We will share how communities frame the ask without it feeling transactional.

Will it be recorded?

Yes. Everyone who registers gets the recording, the slides, and the 31-Day Playbook even if you cannot attend live. The Q&A portion is the most valuable part, though, so we strongly recommend showing up.

Do I need to be a MonthFund customer?

Not at all. About half of attendees are organizers who have never run a calendar fundraiser. The playbook works whether you use MonthFund, a spreadsheet, or pen and paper.
