Calendar Fundraiser for Cheer Teams

cheer team fundraiser

Fund your cheer season without selling anything.

MonthFund gives every cheerleader their own 31-day digital calendar. Families and fans claim a day and give that amount. A 12-person squad running one calendar month raises $5,952. No car washes. No candy bars. No door-to-door.

The cheer fundraising problem

Competition fees, uniforms, and travel add up fast. The same parents end up carrying the load.

Cheer programs need money for uniforms, competition registration, travel, and choreography. The usual answer is product sales or car washes, which burn out the same small group of parents every season.

MonthFund gives every athlete on the squad a defined role: each cheerleader shares their own 31-day calendar with their personal network. Their fans and family claim days. The squad fills the month together, and no single parent has to run the whole thing.

The model

31 days. Every cheerleader a fundraiser.

01

Set up the campaign and invite the squad

The booster club or coach creates the campaign in minutes. Each cheerleader gets their own calendar page to share. No tech skills required.

02

Athletes share; fans and family claim days

Each athlete shares their calendar with their personal network. Fans claim a day and give the matching amount: Day 14 is $14, Day 25 is $25. Donors can cover the infrastructure fee at checkout so the program keeps 100%.

03

The squad fills the month

When every day is claimed across all calendars, the program has hit its goal. The calendar is the scoreboard. Progress is public.

The math

A full squad month is worth more than you think.

One cheerleader, one month$496

A single fully claimed 31-day calendar. The structural output of the model.

12-person squad$5,952

Twelve athletes each running one calendar simultaneously. One month, one shared goal.

Two seasons per year$11,904

Run fall and spring. Same model, different month. Predictable, repeatable funding for your program.

MonthFund provides structure. Outcomes depend on participation. The model makes them calculable, not guaranteed.

Built for cheer programs

Tools that fit how booster clubs actually work.

Every athlete is a fundraiser

Each cheerleader gets their own shareable calendar link. Their network is your reach. No single parent carries the whole campaign.

Public progress board

Families and fans can see the squad calendar fill in real time. Visible progress drives participation without anyone nagging.

Runs alongside other fundraisers

Keep your car wash or spirit wear store. MonthFund is a parallel digital layer that runs in the same month without competing for the same families.

No products, no inventory

No candy bars to count. No order forms to reconcile. Donors give a day amount and the program keeps 100% of what they intend to give.

Why it works for cheer

A model the whole squad can own.

Distributed ownership

Every athlete has a specific role. Claiming a day gives each cheerleader one manageable piece of the goal. No one is left out and no one carries it alone.

Built for busy families

Parents do not need to attend a meeting or manage inventory. They share a link, donors claim a day, and the calendar tracks everything automatically.

Repeatable every season

The squad learns the model once. Fall season, spring season, or any month in between, the structure stays the same.

FAQ

Questions from cheer booster clubs

Can middle school and high school cheer teams use MonthFund?

Yes. MonthFund works for any size cheer program, from youth recreational squads to competitive high school teams. The organizer sets up the campaign and invites athletes as fundraisers.

What if some athletes have smaller networks?

The model is flexible. An athlete with a smaller network might fill 10 days instead of 31. Every day claimed is progress. The squad goal is the sum of all calendars, so strong networks carry more and smaller networks still contribute.

Can the booster club run this alongside a spirit wear sale?

Yes. MonthFund is designed to complement existing fundraisers. A spirit wear store and a calendar month can run simultaneously. They target different donor behaviors: one is a purchase, the other is a gift.

Does the program need a 501(c)(3) to use MonthFund?

No. MonthFund is available to school booster clubs, parent organizations, and community cheer programs regardless of tax status.

How does payout work?

Funds are processed through Stripe and deposited directly to the program's bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule. MonthFund does not hold funds.
