A pick a date fundraiser works best when people around the goal have a clear, manageable role. Recent MonthFund updates make it easier to prepare a campaign, invite community fundraisers, manage a returning team, and stay connected to progress through the month.

Here is what changed and what it means for your next campaign.
Start with a campaign you can make your own
New organization workspaces can receive a starter campaign when the account is created. Review the month, goal, title, story, and cover image, then shape the campaign around the outcome your group is working toward.
This gives organizers a useful starting point. It does not replace the planning conversation. Before you invite anyone, make sure the public campaign explains what the group is raising money for and why the goal matters now.

Invite community fundraisers with less setup
Adding a community fundraiser starts with the essentials: a name and email. Each person receives a personal setup link and their own pick-a-date calendar.
The onboarding flow is one short screen. Community fundraisers can add a photo and short introduction, then continue to their personal dashboard to find their calendar, sharing link, QR code, messages, and supporter tools. They can improve their profile later.
For a repeat campaign, organizers can also invite people from a past team. If someone should no longer be active, retire them from the roster and restore them later if they return.
Prepare and share before payout setup is finished
You can review your campaign, invite community fundraisers, and prepare the launch before Stripe Connect is complete.
Eligible organization workspaces may also see an option to appoint MonthFund as the organization's limited payment agent. After an authorized organizer confirms that appointment, MonthFund can collect gifts on the organization's behalf while Stripe Connect is unfinished. Gifts collected through this interim path remain held until Stripe Connect and payouts are ready.
Choose the right payment path
Use campaign moments to guide the next conversation
MonthFund can send organizers updates when a campaign is published, the first day is claimed, progress reaches a milestone, the goal is reached, the campaign closes, and a payout is paid. Supporters can also receive a message that links them back to the campaign if a payment does not go through.
These updates are useful prompts. They do not replace the human part of the campaign. Use a first claimed day to thank the group, a milestone to share real progress, and a closing update to show what the community made possible.

Get help at the moment you need it
The Help Center brings together support for access, invitations, campaign setup, collection and payout questions, receipts, donations, and technical issues. If a community fundraiser cannot find an invitation, they can use the resend option or ask the organizer to resend from the roster.

Common Questions
Can we prepare and share a campaign before Stripe Connect is complete?
Yes. You can review the campaign, invite community fundraisers, and share public links while Stripe Connect is unfinished. To accept gifts, use a connected Stripe account or the eligible interim collection option if it appears in your organization Settings.
Who can use the interim collection option?
Eligible organization workspaces may see an option to appoint MonthFund as the organization's limited payment agent. The option is not available for personal fundraisers.
What happens to gifts collected through the interim option?
MonthFund holds those gifts until the organization completes Stripe Connect and payouts are ready. The organization still needs to complete Stripe Connect before funds can be deposited to its bank.
What if a community fundraiser cannot find an invitation?
They can use the self-service invitation resend option from Help, or ask the organizer to check the roster and resend the invitation. If delivery still fails, contact MonthFund support.
